As a leading member of our Competence Team, your sophisticated concepts will empower our clients to optimize their inventory – from raw materials all the way down to the finished product. The successful candidate will guide the transformation within the company – from the initial idea, through to its concept, and ultimately its implementation – and beyond. Making technological advancement serviceable. Making the competitive edge tangible.

Your tasks:

Within our supply chain planning projects, you will assume responsibility for inventory management and act as a key point of contact as a client consultant in this segment. • Dentifying parameters of crucial importance and establishing sustainable inventory planning and optimization activities.
  • Implementing solutions together with the client’s project management teams.
  • Deploying your broad-ranging expertise to help achieve multi-echelon inventory optimization or DDMRP-based inventory optimization.
  • Guiding clients through the entire project cycle – before, during and after implementation.
  • FLEX-Office concept with assignment to one of the locations: Mannheim, Cologne, Munich.

Your expertise:

  • At least five years’ experience in supply chain management at a leading consulting company or comparable consulting experience.
  • Competently managing workstreams in a senior position with extensive experience in at least one of our key industries.

  • Wide-ranging project experience successfully optimizing inventory valuations, from the product design to implementation.
  • Skilled in multi-echelon optimization or demand-driven materials requirement planning (DDMRP); corresponding certification would be greatly welcomed.

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills; business fluent German; other languages would be welcomed.

About you:

  • You combine your expertise with your passion for inventory optimization processes in a variety of areas.
  • Active networking allows you to drive your ability to share and train within your area of expertise.
  • Your entrepreneurial behavior, coupled with your pronounced evaluation skills, allow you to reach decisions without assistance.
  • Your hypothesis-based, solution-focused, forward-looking approach as a skilled communicator forms part of your consulting abilities.
  • You enjoy taking business trips and working at client sites.
